RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a hit-and-run that critically injured a man and asking the public for help with information.
Just after 9:30p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 4700 block of Skyway Drive in Riley County, according to a social media report from the Riley County Police Department.
First responders found a 30-year-old man on the side of the road with injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
The man was initially transported by Riley County EMS to Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan and he was later transported to Stormont Vail in Topeka for treatment of his injuries.
The man remains in critical condition, according to a report on Sunday from the RCPD.
