KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating Dustin D. Phegley, 42, who is wanted on an active Independence warrant charging him with Child Molestation, First-Degree Statutory Rape, Two counts of Statutory Sodomy and Two counts of Second-Degree Statutory Rape, according to a statement from the Independence, Missouri Police Deparatment.

Investigators believe Phegley may be in Kansas or have ties to Kansas; however, his current whereabouts are unknown.

Do not attempt to contact or apprehend him. If you see him, call 911 immediately.

If you have information regarding Dustin Phegley's whereabouts, please contact the Independence Police Department or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers. Information leading to his arrest may be eligible for a reward.
