KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects for alleged theft after a high speed chase.
Just after 4a.m. Thursday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received an alarm call from a gas station in Archie, Missouri, south of Kansas City, according to a media release from the sheriff's office.
Deputies located a vehicle and a pursuit ensued. Deputies stopped the suspect vehicle on Interstate 49 just south of J Highway using the Grappler Device.
Two men fled the vehicle on foot. Deputies recovered a handgun and ATM from the scene. They also eventually located and took both suspects into custody and transported them to the Cass County Jail. Names of the suspects have not been released.
