SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating weekend fentanyl deaths at an unhoused encampment in Sedgwick County have identified two more victims as 35-year-old Brandon Randall and 31-year-old Cody Maxey both of Wichita, according to Officer Chad Ditch.

Just after 8a.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to an overdose call in the 2900 hundred block of South Washington in Wichita, according to Ditch.

First responders found the body of a 20-year-old woman identified as Stevie Metts of Wichita and Randall unresponsive and unconscious. They were pronounced deceased on the scene.

Maxey and a 41-year-old woman were also located nearby unresponsive and unconscious.  EMS transported them to a local hospital in grave condition.

On Wednesday, Ditch reported Maxey died at the hospital. The woman remains hospitalized in critical condition.  Police believe these are cases of fentanyl poisoning.
