BARTON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a woman for an alleged violent crime.
Just before 3:30p.m. August 6, police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Gano Street in Great in reference to a subject who had been shot in the face with a pellet gun, according to a media release.
Officers located an 80-year-old man with injuries to his face. He was later transported to the hospital in Great Bend for treatment of his injuries.
Officers and Detectives began interviewing subjects on scene. Officers arrested 46-year-old Janie Strange at the scene on requested charges of Aggravated Battery, and transported her the Barton County Jail.
