Police working to identify Kansas City bank robbery suspect

KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a Kansas City bank Thursday morning, showing a handgun as he demanded cash.

Just after 10:30a.m., the suspect walked into the First Federal Bank of Kansas City in the 1200 block of Armour Road and demanded money, according to a media release from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The suspect was wearing a T-shirt, hat, and sunglasses. He displayed a handgun and demanded tellers hand over cash. He then ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
