SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a homicide in Topeka.
Just before 9a.m. Friday, police responded to the 1300 block of SW Western in Topeka on a report of an individual down, according to Police Lt. Matt Danielson.
First responders located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Police have not released the man's name or reported any suspect details. Check the Post for additional details as they become available.
