WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department have released the names of the two teens killed in Wednesday’s double homicide
The victims 17-year-old Briguel Perez, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas and 18-year-old Luis Yomar Tejada Ceballos, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to report of a shooting in the 1700 Block of South 16th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. Upon arrival, officers located Perez and Ceballos with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital. Both died from their injuries.
