KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just before 11a.m. Friday, police were dispatched to a shooting in the area of E 39th Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
Officers responded and began canvassing the area for any victims. Officers located a man lying on the sidewalk unresponsive and suffering from gunshot trauma. EMS immediately responded and declared the victim deceased.
Police have no suspect details and released no additional information.
