
SEDGWICK COUNTY- A Kansas woman will be sentenced Monday for her role in a deadly shooting outside of a Wichita strip club.
In September, a jury found 33-year-old Autumn Metcalf guilty of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit first-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Joe Wheeler III, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney' office. Judge Eric Williams will sentence Metcalf.

In August of 2020, police responded to a shooting at Baby Dolls in the 4900 Block of North Arkansas in Wichita and found Wheeler dead in his vehicle, according to Wichita Police Captain Jason Stephens.
Investigators learned there was a disturbance in the club that spilled out into the parking lot. Wheeler was shot while inside his car which was parked in the back business parking area, according to Stephens.
