CRAWFORD COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9p.m. Saturday in Crawford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Saturn Vue driven by Ann Marie Edgett, 53, Pittsburg, Kansas, was northbound on Kansas Highway 3 at 630th Avenue.
The SUV veered off the roadway to the right. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle crossed the center line continued across the southbound lane and into the south ditch where it rolled onto the roof.
Edgett was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
