RENO COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a double shooting in Hutchinson that sent two men to the hospital.
Just before 8p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to report of a shooting at an address in the 1100 block West 19th Avenue in Hutchinson, according to a media release from Hutchinson Police.
First responders located a man with wound to his lower extremity. He was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in stable condition and later released after being treated.
Moments later, officers were dispatched to 19th Avenue and Monroe Street where they located another adult man in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to HRMC in critical condition and later to St. Francis in Wichita.
Detectives are interviewing several individuals who were present during the shooting, as well as others with relevant information. No arrests have been made. Based on what police know at this time, there is no known current threat to the public.
