CRAWFORD COUNTY —The manhunt for a Kansas felon wanted as part of a shooting investigation ended Tuesday in Crawford County.  Aaron Swink was taken into custody near South 220 Street in Pittsburg about 6:30 p.m, according to law enforcement authorities.

Swink is the suspect in several shootings that occurred late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Citizens last reported seeing him in southeast city limits of Pittsburg on south Rouse entering the woods. There was a large law enforcement presence in that area. 

Swink has previous convictions for kidnapping and aggravated battery, according to the Kansas Dept of Corrections and was reported as an absconder March 6.   Authorities have not released new charges against him.

CRAWFORD COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and working to locate a suspect.

Aaron Swink, 39, is described as  6-foot tall, 200 pounds and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the Crawford County Sheriff.
