The investigation into the roadway shooting that occurred Wednesday in the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit continues. Investigators released a photograph of the suspect vehicle, believed to be a dark Grey 2015-2017 Ford F-150.
California plate 'AZZ KIKR', which may or may not still be on the vehicle.
Just before 11a.m. Wednesday, a shooting between two vehicles occurred in the southbound lanes of M-291 Highway at the intersection of Chipman Road, according to a media release from Lee's Summit Police.
Suspects wearing dark clothing were seen shooting into the victim’s vehicle that was stopped at the intersection.
With witness identification and FLOCK camera footage, policde identified the suspect vehicle as a dark grey Ford F-150 with a California vanity license plate. The suspect vehicle was last seen making a U-turn onto Northbound M-291 Highway.
Police were able to identifiy two victims. One victim is being treated at a local hospital for gunshot wounds, and 1 victim is being treated for glass shrapnel.
