HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kansas State Fair General Manager Bryan Schulz let Hutch Post know that there will be something special at the Kansas State Fair this year.

"We have the Lombardi Trophy coming to the Kansas State Fair on the Kansas Lottery's Chief Red Friday," Schulz said. "People will be able to come out there, have their picture taken with the Super Bowl Trophy from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the last Friday. This is going to be huge. They only go to certain places. When they said they want to bring it, we were, thumbs up, let's get it done."

There's also a free concert that night for Chiefs fans as Blane Howard, KC Wolf and Rumble, the Kansas City Chiefs drumline will all be at the fair again. Blane will perform at Peoples Bank and Trust Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 15, sponsored by The Sleep Shoppe and Furniture Gallery.
