McPherson County reports 68 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday

MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported 68 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total to 1,316.

Of that total, 770 cases have either met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines or have died, and seven of the active cases are hospitalized, the health department noted.

Following is the updated case data as provided by the health department.

• New cases since last public release: 68

• Asymptomatic: 39

• Cases with unknown exposure: 610

• Cases 60 years old and above: 393

• Cases 50-59 years old: 185

• Cases 40-49 years old: 172

• Cases 30-39 years old: 163

• Cases 18-29 years old: 274

• Cases under 18 years old: 129

• Female cases: 702

• Male cases: 614

• Hospitalized cases (may not represent current hospitalizations): 44

• Ventilated cases (may not represent current ventilated cases): 5

• Deaths: 9
