Sheriff: Kan. man gone missing from Saline County home

Law enforcement is currently searching for a man who went missing from Saline County.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, on Tuesday at 5:25 pm, deputies received the report and were dispatched to a home on the 200 block of S. Brenda Lane.

Reportedly, a 50-year-old male identified as Tobin Sawyers went missing. 

His children, aged 16 and 14, last saw him at 1:15 pm while he was doing yard work. Then at around 4:30 pm, his children went back out to interact with him, but Sawyers was not located.

The children contacted the mother and law enforcement was then notified.

When the Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies arrived, an extensive search was conducted. Mounted Patrol Rescue Bloodhounds were sent out, along with agency aerial assets were used to search the area.

Sawyers has not yet been located.

No evidence of foul play was determined, according to the Sheriff's Office.
