JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating an aggravated battery that left a woman injured.
The incident occurred just after noon Thursday at a park in the 1000 block of North Ridgeview Road in Olathe, according to Police Sergeant John Moncayo,
Officers responded to a report of an armed disturbance and found a 38-year-old woman suffering from a serious injury consistent with a stabbing. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Police took 27-year-old Kwan Noble Trezvant of Olathe into custody at the scene. On Friday afternoon, Trezvantwas formally charged with attempted first-degree murder, according to Moncayo.
