SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.
Following an investigation that began in November, sheriff's deputies arrested 41-year-old Barry L. Maddux of Topeka on requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The alleged crimes involve a non-family member. The sheriff's office released no additional details.
