WABAUNSEE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 5p.m. Saturday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Paul H. Schweir, 69, Maple Hill, was spraying weeds on his property using his 2023 Honda Forman Rubicon ATV traveling northbound at 20246 Kansa Road in Maple Hill. The ATV traveled off the east edge of the driveway, continued into a ditch, rolled over and and trapped the driver underneath.
Schweir was pronouned dead at the scene and was transported to Forensic Medical Center.
