SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting. Just after 2 p.m. Monday, police responded to a shooting in the 3500 block of SW Kerry Avenue in Topeka, according to Police Lt. Edward Stanley.

First responders found an individual suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The individual was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the injuries.

Late Monday, police reported the victim died to their injuries.&nbsp; Police have not reported a possible suspect, the victim's name or additional details.
