KBI: Foul play suspected in disappearance of Kan. man

MARSHALL COUNTY —Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office are conducting a search for a missing man from Blue Rapids, Kansas, who was last seen on the night of July 4, according to a media release from the KBI.

On Saturday the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office requested KBI assistance in the disappearance of Camoran M. Shoptese, 36. Shoptese was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday at 709 Chestnut Street in Blue Rapids.

He is a Native American, approximately 6 foot 1 inch tall, 200 pounds has short black hair, brown eyes, and black tattoos covering his neck and chest.

Investigators suspect foul play connected to his disappearance. A 2008 black Chevy Colorado may be associated with the case.
