SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities investigating a homicide in Topeka have identified the victim as 19-year-old&nbsp; Khristopher A. L. Brown of Topeka, according to Police Lt. Donna Eubanks.

Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, police&nbsp;&nbsp;responded to the 1300 block SE 8th for a hit-and-run accident, according Eubanks. Officers located Brown, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. 

First responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.&nbsp; Detectives were notified and traffic was shut down along 8th and 10th street between SE Locust and SE Lime.&nbsp; Police have not reported an arrest or additional details.
