NEOSHO COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Tuesday in Neosho County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Victory motorcycle driven by Brandon M. Eastwood, 42, Pittsburg, Kansas, was southbound on U.S. 59 three and one half miles South of Kansas 47 and was passing another southbound vehicle.
The driver lost control of the the motorcycle as it re-entered the southbound lane. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle. The vehicle came to rest within southbound shoulder of the highway and the driver in the ditch. Eastwood was promounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Medical. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
