Kansas man jailed after knife fight sends man to the hospital

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect in connection with a stabbing at a Kansas home.

Just before 6p.m. July 22, police were sent to the area of NE Seward Avenue and NE Grattan Street Topeka after reports that a man who had been stabbed, according to Lt. Ron Ekis.

First responders found a victim who was transported by ambulance to a locate hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. 

As a result of the investigation police arrested Thomas J. McNorton, 29, of Topeka booked him into to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Burglary, Domestic Battery and Battery.
