The United States successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday. Maduro along with his wife, was captured and flown out of the country, according to the White House. "This operation was done in conjunction with U.S. Law Enforcement."
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas used his personal social media account to criticize the action.
Maduro arrived in the New York late Saturday, according to video released by the White House. He is expected to be arraigned in the coming days.
