A Salina Police Department K9 team has received Master Tracker status.

K9 Officer Carlos Londono and Bennie were named the best tracking team, receiving Master Tracker status, according to a post today on the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SalinaKSPD/">Salina Police Department</a> Facebook page. Additionally, the team placed third in drug detection.

The team was one of 28 K9 teams from Kansas and Iowa that participated in the five-day Heart of America Police Dog Association training event in Manhattan last week.
