Sheriff: Kan. man accused of littering jailed for meth possession

JACKSON COUNTY, Kan.  –Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.  Just after 10p.m.  May 6, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Escape for allegedly littering on 150th near U.S. Highway 75, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The passenger, Justin Joe Riis, 30, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of  possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
