Kan. woman held on $500k bond after drugs intercepted in the mail

RENO COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug charges after intercepting a package sent in the mail.

The postal service in Wichita intercepted the package, according to law enforcement.  After that the postal service and drug enforcement unit coordinated the delivery and arrested the recipient identified as 34-year-old Chelsea Pope of Hutchinson the following day. The package contained more than 10 pounds of drugs. 

Pope is being held on a $500,000 bond on requested charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
