SHAWNEE COUNTY —A man injured in a motorcycle accident last week has died, Topeka Police reported Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 5:30p.m. May 7, a motorcycle driven by Christopher L. Evans, 38, Topeka, and a car were involved in a crash at 1st Street and SW Topeka Boulevard in Topeka.. Evans was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Saturday.
An occupant of the car identified as 31-year-old Rachel J. Anguiano ran from the crash and was later arrested and booked on a felony warrant.
The accident remains under investigation.
