FORD COUNTY —Law enforcement agencies have cleared the downtown Dodge City area and confirmed there are no safety concerns after a reported bomb threat Friday afternoon.
The section of downtown near the Post Office including the Ford County Courthouse and the Ford County Government Center are now safe and open to the community.
The City of Dodge City thanked the community for its patience and extends appreciation to everyone involved for their efforts during this situation.
Police reported no injuries or addditional details.

FORD COUNTY—Law enforcement in Ford County are investigating a bomb threat.
Just after 2p.m. Friday, the Dodge City Police Department asked all residents downtown near the Post Office, including the Ford County Courthouse and the Ford County Government Center, to avoid the area due to a bomb threat.
