Sheriff: Kan. driver making improper turn was transporting meth

SHAWNEE COUNTY–Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 9:30p.m. Jan. 16, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop near NW Topeka Boulevard and NW Studer Street on a red 2001 Dodge Dakota for a turn signal violation, according to Deputy Shayna Anderson.

During the investigation, the deputy located illegal narcotics. 

Caleb S. Eslick, 38, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, fail to use turn signal, and no vehicle insurance.
