SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was arrested Sept. 9, 2025, in Hutchinson on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child, according to a statement from the Sheriff's office.
The Hutchinson Police Department took 31-year-old Travis Scott Haydon of Hutchinson into custody in connection with the case.
Haydon was booked into the Reno County Jail, where he remains in custody. Upon learning of his arrest, the Sheriff’s Office placed Haydon on administrative leave. He has been employed at the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility since January 2024.
The Hutchinson Police Department is conducting the criminal investigation.
