KANSAS CITY—A boy was seriously injured in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Saturday in Cass County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the 7-year-old Pleasant Hill boy was riding on Losust Street just east of Armstrong Street. The bicyclist entered the path of an eastbound 2009 Honda Fit driven by a 28-year-old Harrison man. The car struck the bicycle.
Pleasant Hill EMS transported the boy to Children's Mercy. The boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
