KANSAS CITY —Authorities are working to determine the cause of a house fire in Kansas City. Just before 9:30a.m. Tuesday, crews responded to a reported house fire in the 6000 block of E. 98th Street, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews reported heavy smoke from a split-level home. Searches of the structure came back all clear. No injuries were reported at this incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD. Red Cross was ordered for two adults and two children.
