ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.
Just after 2:30AM on Thursday, an officer on patrol observed a wanted suspect identified as 36-year-old Alan Kendrick sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 400 block U.S.59 in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The officer took Kendrick into custody on three District Court warrants for failure to appear in court. During that arrest Kendrick was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Stephen Oswalt was also sitting in the vehicle and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Kendrick remains jailed on requested on requested charges for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and three District Court warrants for failure to appear in court.
