KANSAS CITY —Seven people were injured in an accident that occurred just before 10:30a.m. Tuesday in Kansas City, Missouri.
Narrative: AIS responded to assist MPD officers with an injury crash. The preliminary investigation revealed that a black Nissan Kicks, occupied by six individuals, was northbound on Wornall Road approaching Ward Parkway, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The driver of the Nissan failed to stop at a red traffic signal and collided with a black Ford traveling eastbound on Ward Parkway.
EMS transported seven individuals to two local hospitals. One passenger, who was located in the trunk, cargo area of the Nissan Kicks, is in critical but stable condition, according to DiMartino.
