UPDATE 8:40 p.m. Tuesday: The flood warning for part of Lincoln County is no longer in effect.
. . .
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a flood warning in effect until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday for east-central Lincoln County.
At 5:14 p.m. CDT, Doppler radar indicated intense rainfall occurring over central Lincoln County. Radar estimates up to an inch of rain has fallen, with an additional 1 to 2 inches likely over the next hour.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Lincoln and Beverly.
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t drown.
