The Salina Public Library announced today changes to its meal program for children ages 18 and younger.
According to information on the library's Facebook page, its summer lunch program will end on Friday, however, an after school meal program is scheduled to begin on Monday.
This week all children who receive a lunch will also receive a free book, the information noted.
Here's the summer lunch menu, according to information from the library:
Monday -- Chili with beans, corn, fruit, and milk
Tuesday -- Hot dog, french fries, fruit, and milk
Wednesday -- Lasagna, broccoli, fruit, and milk
Thursday -- Corn dog, macaroni and cheese, fruit, and milk
Friday -- Fish sandwich, carrots, fruit, and milk
Children ages 18 and under must be present to receive their meals.
Grab and go lunches can be picked up in the library's book drop lane from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Meals are available while supplies last.
According to the library, a grab and go after school meal program is to begin Monday from 4-5 p.m. in the library's book drop lane. (The same spot as grab and go lunches are distributed.)
