22-year-old Kan. recruit deputy arrested for alleged domestic assault

SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Recruit Deputy for alleged domestic battery.

On Tuesday, Haysville  Police arrested 22-year-old Brandon Fox and he was booked into jail on a requested charge of Domestic Battery and Assault, according to a statement from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's office.

 Fox has been employed by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office since February 2024 as a detention deputy. On July 22nd, 2024 Fox began the Sheriff’s Office Commissioned Academy.   He is currently suspended from duty, pending the outcome of the criminal case and an internal investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He bonded out of jail approximately 30 minutes after he was booked into jail, according to online records.
