JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are asking the public for help locating a dog involved in a bite incident that occurred just before 10p.m. Saturday, according to a statement from Overland Park Police Captain Jonathan Juin.
A man entered a local business near W. 79th Street and Frontage Road. A light brown American Pit Bull bit the man on his left leg. The dog's owner is described as a Black male in 40s who was wearing a white shirt, black pants and he also had on glasses.
The dog's owner did not provide any identifying information to the victim and walked away from the scene of the incident, according to police. The dog was on a leash at the time of the incident.
