Sheriff: Kansas man accused of trailer theft from rural property

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged theft and burglary.

Just after 7p.m. June 19, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an enclosed trailer that had been stolen from a rural property near Delia, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

A Jackson County Deputy located the stolen trailer at a residence in Rossville. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office and Silver Lake Police then located the suspect at a different address in the City of Rossville.

The suspect, Tanner Joseph Allen, 27, of Rossville, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of theft, burglary and criminal damage to property.
