ABILENE - Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently wore blue jeans at work for a Jeans Day fundraiser. 

Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of May. A total donation of $160 was presented to Laundry Love of Abilene.

The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to come alongside people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry.&nbsp; Laundry Love of Abilene is a local program directed by Holly Walker in partnership with The Cedar House in Abilene. Laundry Love fosters community participation within a neighborhood through the many layers of connection it inspires. Laundry Love partners with groups, and local laundromats, in cleaning clothes and linens of families and individuals.
