GEARY COUNTY —The Junction City Vice Mayor, 30-year-old Alovence Gordon has been arrested on requested charges of Aggravated Assault and Deadly Use of a Weapon. 

He was booked into the Detention Center at 3:41 p.m. Saturday, according to information from the Geary County Detention Center.

Gordon's term on the Junction City Commission runs until January. He ran for reelection but was defeated in the August primary election.
