KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 6:30pm Monday, police dispatched to the 5800 block of Michigan in Kansas City, Missouri on a sound of gunshots call, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
On arrival officers located an adult male shooting victim, unresponsive near a vehicle in the street, in front of a house on the block.
Officers called for EMS who responded for treatment and transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A short time later officers were notified by hospital personnel the victim was declared deceased from his injuries.
Investigation led officers to a subject of interest at a nearby location, that subject was detained for further investigation without further incident. Police released no additional details.
