
FINNEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of fires at an abandoned motel in Garden City and have made an arrest.
Just after 5:30p.m. Friday, police and fire crews were dispatch to the Dusty Trail, 2808 West Taylor Avenue in Garden City, according to police. First responders observed large flames coming from the second floor on the west side of the building.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes. There were no injuries. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set.

After an investigation, officers arrested 25-year-old Enrique Ismael Sanchez, a transient. Police believe he was also responsible for setting the fire at the motel on April 26. He is being held on requested charges of arson and burglary, according to police.
