
JOHNSON COUNTY—A Kansas woman is accused in the death of a pregnant woman and her unborn baby.
Izabel Reed, 25, has been charged with first-degree murder, distribution of drugs causing death, distribution of fentanyl and distribution of meth, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office.
The charges are in connection with the death of Alexandrea Hunter and her unborn child on Christmas Eve in 2023.
On Wednesday, police booked Reed into the Johnson County Detention Center where she is being held on a $1 million bond. She is due back in court June 12, according ot the district attorney's office.
