Funeral procession details for KC paramedic killed in the line of dutiy

It will continue onto U.S. 71 Highway South and exit at Bannister Road, head east and then turn south at Hillcrest Road traveling past KCFD Station 42 at 6006 E. Red Bridge Road. KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Firefighter/paramedic Graham Hoffman’s Funeral will be held on Friday, May 2, at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. A public visitation will take place from 11a.m.-1p.m. followed by the funeral service and procession. The procession will begin at approximately 3 p.m.

Firefighter Hoffman will be cremated so there will not be a graveside service.

Early Sunday, while transporting a patient to the hospital, the patient stabbed Hoffman in the chest. Hoffman was transported to North Kansas City Hospital in critical condition and later died. Hoffman, 29, was a member of the Kansas City, Missouri Fire Department for three years.

Clay County prosecutors have charged the suspect in the attack.
