KANSAS CITY, Mo. —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 9p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to the 3200 block of E 7th in Kansas City, Missouri on a reported disturbance and sound of shots, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
Officers arrived to the area and located a man lying in the driveway of a residence suffering from apparent gunshot trauma and unresponsive. Officers rendered medical aid until EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates an argument ensued between multiple people that escalated into shots being fired. An adult male subject was taken into custody for further questioning.
Homicide detectives and crime scene personnel responded to the scene to begin gathering evidence and collecting witness statements. This incident is being investigated as a homicide.
