
COMANCHE COUNTY —A suspect wanted in North Dakota is in custody in Kansas after a traffic stop in Comanche County.
On Monday afternoon, Sheriff's Deputy Stetsen Underwood conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation, according to a social media report from the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office.
During the stop, Deputy Underwood identified the driver as a wanted fugitive with an active warrant out of North Dakota for Rape, Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault.
The suspect, identified from online jail records as 24-year-old Fredi Barrientos Garcia was taken into custody without incident
He is currently being held without bond pending extradition.
